Have a spritzer bottle handy and spray every couple of minutes with a mix of apple cider and water - it will keep the meat moist .

One thing you might consider is to keep the casings from splitting, par boil in your liquid then brown or grill but not directly over your coals.

Totally wrong way of using tandoor. Tandoor can be heated with minimum fuel( wood or charcoal). You wasted a lot of wood.

It would be easier to leave air in the bag in order to mix everyghing in. Also dropping the salt and pepper directly on a couple peppers is gonna cause some to be heavily coated compared to others since they'll stick directly to thise more. Better off mixing the oil, salt, and pepper in (or outside of) the bag. Then add the pepoers after

I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

Thank you for sharing this! I ended up twisting a wad of napkins together, soaking one end with olive oil and lit the other end. Once the flame got going I put the briquets around the flame like a pyramid. It was my first time doing it and it worked like a charm.
